Satellite dish Antennas
Pulled the cone off my DirecTV satellite meal and mounted an RCA ANT751 HDTV antenna as an alternative. The antenna offers for $52 on Amazon.
Step 2: guaranteed the RCA Antenna to endure the Elements
Secured the ANT751 into satellite dish with the included U-bolt and two peanuts. Used the included brackets to get it nice and snug.
Step 3: linked present Coaxial Cable from DirecTV towards Antenna
DirecTV already had coaxial cable operating from my living room towards the satellite dish. We utilized the included coaxial transformer on the antenna and just screwed into the existing coaxial cable.
Step 5: Coaxial Cable
Already had DirecTV coaxial cable running into my family room through my basement. Need not change and drill brand-new holes into my house.
Step 6: Hook Up To TV
Plugged the coaxial cable into my television and viola! Used the "Channel Manager" to scan for regional channels.
