HDTV antenna, Outdoor
Advantages: It's small, the post is flexible and it also is sold with components to attach to a mast (which I didn't usage). The antenna is not very directional (that is great in a place with several broadcast antenna locations.
Disadvantages: It is a compromise from a big antenna. It's fine, but do not expect it to carry in stations on the perimeter of an urban location particularly when it's in the attic.
I made use of two among these antennas. You're at a vacation house with signals from three guidelines. The antenna it really works great and draws all three alert locations in good with no dilemmas. (Tower distance is 4 miles, 3 miles and 15 miles and antenna is targeted at the 15 mile towers). This antenna is installed in the loft. This 1 was set up several many years with no trouble.
The second you're about 40 miles from the LA programs. I use it in a spot where I could maybe not run cable from another antenna quickly. The small antenna had been attached within my loft initially and obtained almost nothing (most likely considering roofing/stucco building products). We relocated it outside and it today accumulates all the channels my regular Yagi outdoor antenna gets, but with a lesser but acceptable sign strength. This one has only been installed, so I don't know how the antenna will endure in elements outside.
